What should I bring to the wedding?

Alcohol: BYO beer and wine if you wish to enjoy and share. We will be serving a limited selection of cocktails after the ceremony. Stores in the area offer an excellent selection of Vermont and other regional beers.

Gifts: No gifts needed and please no physical gifts, we have no additional space in the house that we live in! If giving us a wedding gift is important to you, we would appreciate a card with a donation to a future house.

What should I bring for camping?

If you plan to camp at Ginny's you'll need a tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, towel, and whatever else you need to feel comfortable camping. We have a small supply of camping gear available for those coming from afar--let us know in the RSVP if you're in need! There's also a great camping and outdoor outfitter store 30 minutes south of us in Bradford, VT: Farmway.

Campers should BYO snacks and lunches (or see Where Can I Eat Around Danville? below). There will be organized camper breakfasts available by donation.

Are kids invited?

Yes! Please bring your kids if you want. Kids are an important part of our lives and we want them to celebrate with us too. We plan to create a 'kid zone' with cool stuff for them to play and create with and generally keep 'em busy, plus some organized activities at various times throughout the week and weekend. 

Are dogs invited?

We ask that dogs be somewhere else during the ceremony and dinner, but the rest of the time dogs are welcome if they are good at staying on the property and get along with people (including kids) and other dogs. It is important to know that Ginny's house is in close proximity to a state highway and neighbors, but also a great rail trail for walking.

Where do I park?

Most of the time you can park in the church parking lot that shares a driveway with Ginny's house. At times when the church parking is being used (Saturday 9 - noon and Sunday 8 - 9:30 am) we will have alternative parking set up that you will be directed to by parking attendants.

Campers will have on-site designated camper parking.

What is the open mic/talent show/karaoke on Friday?

Our hope is for people to get to know each other better in fun and connective ways. One of the ways we want to make this happen is by inviting you to show off your talents, be they ridiculous, serious, experimental, or utterly show-stopping. Your family band, first stab at stand-up, five-minute TED Talk, fitted sheet-folding demonstration, recitation, karaoke, floor routine--just have fun with it (and only if you're up for it). Roasts will also be permitted at this time...

Are you allowing speeches?

We would love to hear some lovingly prepared speeches from whomever wishes. Except Jed. He's not allowed to give a speech.
